It is widely known that air nozzles provide better blow-off force than slotted air knives. The problem has been that individual nozzles mounted to a manifold take up a lot of room, have fixed positions and flow rates, and can be very expensive. Maxum has created NEW technology that finally solves these problems.

Maxum is proud to offer the patented “Nozzle Bar”. A powerful new product that looks and installs like an air knife, but offers the full blow-off power of individual air nozzles. The internal nozzle system is fully customizable with a variety of flow rates and patterns. Every nozzle insert uses a patented converging and laminar flow design to maximize velocity and blow-off distance.

Here are a few reasons why the “Nozzle Bar” will work better in your blow-off system:
Air knives work great on a relatively close, flat surface, but the Nozzle Bar works great on any surface, and at much further distances. By matching pattern convergence from the superior penetration of nozzles, the Nozzle Bar can be customized to provide powerful blow-off force to reach deep cavities and varying part shapes and distances. The product can dry complicated shapes using more air where you need it, and use less air where it is not needed, all from a single nozzle bar. For complex parts inside washers, racked parts, unusual shaped containers, and many other applications it provides powerful blow-off that cannot be matched by any air knife design.
